Are you successful in some areas of your life, but struggling with others? Do you have an aching feeling that tells you “there is something more” or does it sometimes feel nearly impossible to start doing what you need to do to move towards your goals and dreams?
I understand where you are – I’ve certainly been there myself. Who will tell you what you need to hear versus what you want to hear – family, friends, colleagues? How do you sort through the noise in your head along with the daily demands of your job, family, and friends, or even have the time to rediscover who you really are…who you were truly meant to be?
A few years ago, after going through a very challenging time in my life, I embarked on an incredible journey across northern Spain called the Camino de Santiago. I had plenty of time to reflect, think and feel as I hiked over 400 miles. I realized that I had drifted off course. I hungered to reconnect with my authentic self and I yearned for a more fulfilling life. This very personal journey was full of emotional and sometimes physical pain, but there was also a lot of joy, deep satisfaction, and even some triumphs. I hope to be returning to the Camino soon to revisit my first journey and to hike the route again in several sections over the next few years.
